Description:
This two-day training for Case Service Aides will focus on practical interventions for ADHD children and their families. The training will increase awareness and understanding of the disorder by covering the most current information about ADHD: symptoms, causes, associated problems and treatment of the disorder, and current screening procedures. Participants will also learn specific behavior intervention strategies for to use in the context of their practice with families. Creating therapeutic games for children with ADHD will also be discussed. This training is intended for Case Service Aides who work in visitation centers, life skills programs, home based service programs and parent education groups.
