You selected class: Intervention Strategies and Service Provision for Adolescents

Description:
This one-day training will build on the information learned in the Adolescent Development & Case Assessment workshop. Specific treatment and intervention strategies will be discussed for each of the behavioral problems that were identified in the Case Assessment training. Detailed criteria will be given for the effective use of an array of interventions, including: family therapy, individual therapy, group therapy, behavior modification, medication, placement in an RCCF, RTC, group home, or foster home, core services and in-home interventions. Participants will work in small groups and will present “hypothetical” cases to their colleagues and trainers for case consultation regarding the most appropriate and effective intervention strategies. *It is strongly recommended that Adolescent Assessment & Case Planning and Intervention Strategies and Service Provisions for Adolescents be taken together.
